Shish Meze

Shish Meze is a restaurant known for bringing authentic Turkish cuisine and hospitality to the local community. The restaurant focuses on a dining experience that includes a variety of hot and cold small mezes, which are small dishes perfect for sharing. Their main offerings frequently include tenderly cooked meat dishes prepared over a hot charcoal grill, such as different kinds of shish kebabs, lamb ribs, and chicken wings.

Additionally, they often feature fresh seafood, salads, and cater to different preferences with a selection of vegetarian options, making it a popular choice for various dining occasions, from intimate dinners to large group celebrations.

The establishment strives to provide a plush, luxurious venue for customers to dine in style, offering an inviting atmosphere alongside its traditional Turkish flavours. Shish Meze also commonly features a range of specialty items like stews, moussaka, and various desserts, including popular Turkish pastries like baklava.

It operates seven days a week, typically opening in the afternoon and serving until late evening. While the general style is consistent, specific locations like the one often cited near Hornchurch (which is close to Dagenham) offer a full menu with options for dine-in, takeaway, and even private dining events.
