The Sariyer Balik brand is deep-rooted within the Newington Green community and is also considered to be a place where one dines within a frozen setting of nostalgia, depicted as a cross between a fisherman’s cave of wonders and a Turkish Meyhane from the late 70’s and mid 80’s era.

20 years on and we’re still proud to mention that Sariyer Balik was awarded “Winner” of Best Turkish restaurant in 2002 at the TimeOut eating and drinking awards.
