Angelica Bridal in Camden Passage, Islington, was founded in 2009 by two sisters – one studying Fashion and the other Engineering. Their familiarity with clothing and garment making came from their Grandmother. Growing up, they both watched and helped to make clothing such as dresses, pajamas, and jackets, and home furnishings like cushions and curtains. These were often embellished with detailed hand embroideries – this is where the love started!

After researching for their own wedding dresses, it was apparent that they were destined to create a bridal business that would be modern and fun, with an honest and enthusiastic team of dedicated, wedding dress mad bridal stylists!

In 2021, Angelica Bridal Liverpool Road, Islington, opened its doors to the public, with an aim to focus solely on a range of exquisite bridal gowns designed for brides with curves! Having been helping Brides to find their perfect gowns for over 12 years, the team felt that the one thing can be done to better serve the wedding community, the one thing missing, was to create a brand new modern and friendly boutique, to offer a diverse range of ‘knock-out’ styles, made using the best fabric, designed for Brides with curvy figures. And to have fun whilst finding the perfect gown with their friends and families. Helping to make that beautiful once in a life-time memory.
