e-Diyanet app reaches 882 thousand users worldwide

The Presidency of Religious Affairs’ comprehensive digital platform, the e-Diyanet app, has reached a significant milestone, surpassing 882,000 users. Launched to consolidate all of the Presidency’s digital services into a single point of access, the app is becoming an essential tool for the diaspora, including the large Turkish community in London.

For residents in boroughs like Enfield, Hackney, and Haringey, where access to reliable religious information and daily prayer schedules is highly valued, this digital advancement offers a seamless way to stay connected to their faith.

A digital hub for spiritual life

Developed by the Department of Information Technology, the e-Diyanet app was officially introduced in August 2025. It was designed to cater to users of all ages, providing a user-friendly interface for daily spiritual practices and learning.

  • Key Features: The app includes dedicated categories for the Holy Quran, Hadiths, prayer times, fatwas, and religious broadcasts via radio.

  • Multilingual Support: With support for six languages, the app is accessible to a global audience, ensuring that language is no barrier to accessing religious services.

  • Integrated Services: It offers eight main modules and dozens of sub-functions, allowing users to personalize their experience based on their specific needs, such as tracking local prayer times in Barnet or Islington.

Award-winning innovation

The rapid adoption of the app has not gone unnoticed. e-Diyanet was recently honored with an award from the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) for its high user experience and integrated service delivery.

For the community in Camden and Southwark, the app serves as a vital bridge, providing verified information on religious questions and offering a reliable source for family-oriented content and publications.

Availability

The app is continuously updated based on user feedback to improve functionality. It is currently available for download on both the Google Play Store and the App Store, making it easily accessible for anyone with a smartphone in Westminster or elsewhere in the capital.

As the Turkish community in London continues to embrace digital solutions, e-Diyanet stands out as a leading example of how technology can support and enhance cultural and religious life in 2026.
